Family services administrator
SALARY: £24,500 - £26,000 (DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE)
TERM: PERMANENT – FULL TIME
LOCATION: CANON STREET, TAUNTON
This multifaceted position involves front-of-house reception duties, administrative support for parenting assessments, calendar and planner management, housekeeping, and coordination with residential houses and Somerset Clinic.
The post-holder will ensure smooth daily operations, provide a welcoming and calm presence for families and professionals, and offer compassionate care to babies and young children. Strong organisation, communication, and emotional resilience are key to thriving in this safeguarding-focused environment.
As a representative of Orchard House, the post-holder must always maintain professional and appropriate behaviour. This includes demonstrating integrity in all interactions with staff, families, patients, contractors, and regulatory bodies; communicating clearly and respectfully; maintaining appropriate boundaries; and upholding the organisation's values and reputation through personal conduct onsite.
